Tucked away in the trees along the Sandy River in Troutdale OR, this sweet little cabin has been standing since the 1950s. We recently had the honor of designing a new kitchen that blends modern function with the home’s cozy, vintage charm.
Keeping the soul of the space intact while enhancing its usability was key—think warm wood tones, retro furnishings, and a layout that makes the most of its small footprint. The raked cedar ceiling is original to the home. Now, it’s ready for many more years of riverside mornings, inspiration and fish tales.
